Introduction to Coastal Navigation

This course covers reading a chart, aids to navigation, tides and currents, plotting a course, planning a course to steer, determining one's position, and basic piloting.

The 2018 class will meet from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. the five Thursday evenings in August at the Hamilton Creek Marina building.  For the course, you will need a few items. You may also want to get a “hand held compass” (either puck-type or pistol grip).
