What will I learn?
What boat?
What to expect?
Laura and Julie will be teaching the basics of sailing in small sailboats. They will teach part of the course on the water and part of the course on shore. They'll talk about rigging the boat, finding the wind, basic boat handling and safety too.  Course curriculum will be based on US Sailing Level 1 instruction.
We'll be using Sunfish as our teaching platform.  These are safe, sturdy and easy to sail.  Perfect for kids!
Each Kid's day will start at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Extended care is available from 7:45 am - 5:15 pm. Everyone should show up with sunscreen pre-applied and bring some extra too.  Julie and Laura will start things on shore, then take everyone out on the water. They'll do another lesson on shore and on the water after lunch.
