PPYC will hold the Kamikaze Regatta on Sunday, December 7, 2008. In keeping with tradition, the regatta is held on the Sunday closest to Pearl Harbor Day. The regatta is also traditionally held the the day after the PPYC Christmas Party.
The regatta format will be one distance race using a pursuit start (like our Wednesday night races). There will be three Portsmouth Cruiser* classes: Spinnaker A, Spinnaker B and Non-Spinnaker. All PPYC boat owners, racers and non-racers, are encouraged to sail in this regatta. All regatta
activities will be based out of Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina.
